Hooray!

We are in our new building and it is beautiful. Thanks to everyone in the community for all your help. You know who you are!!! There has been a township library in Fife Lake since 1887 when we received $17.00 from Grand Traverse County for our Township Library. Since 1945 we were in a one-room schoolhouse built in 1878 until our current move in July 2006 to a new library at 77 Lakecrest Lane. We have 6 public computers! We are busy scheduling new programs. Our community room is available for non-profit and private usage. Call for info.

If you would like to contribute or have any further questions, please call or write the library.

Janice Barr, a retired RN, is leading this class every Wed and Friday @ 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. This is not an aerobics class. The emphasis will be on maintaining strength and flexibility for seniors. All you need to bring are clean, dry shoes, a small towel and hand weights if you have them.

Books for Sale
Don't forget our book sale shelf on the back wall. We finally have it organized, so if you're looking for a certain author or genre, we can help you find it. The cost is only 50cents to $3. There are also movies, books on tape and free magazines.
